Calculate how much antifouling is needed

 

Antifouling should be applied in two layers, this is done so that the right amount of paint will remain on the hull of the boat, even towards the end of the season when the fouling is at its peak.

To calculate the size of your hull area:

Powerboat LWL* (width + depth) = sq.m.

Sailboat fin keel 0.5 LWL * (width + depth) = sq.m.

Sailboat long keel 0.75 LWL* (width + depth) = sq.m.

(LWL = length waterline)
