Handling annoying leaks in deckhouse and superstructure

 

Leaking deckhouses are a scourge, affecting most boat owners sooner or later. It can be difficult to locate exactly where the water seeps in.

Usually these leaks are results of faulty or old mastics used when mounting winches and winch shippers (?) etc. Once the leakage has been located, a Crack Sealer may favourably be used, a fluid liquid that penetrates the crack and hardens into solid plastic. This way it’s possible to fix the leakage without visible mending.
