Nautica Copper
Use
Recommended for leisure boats and ships on the east and west coast of Sweden (from Örskär to the Norwegian border) For boats with a weight of 200 kg and speeds up to 50 knots. Not recommended for use on aluminum boats. Very effective against fouling and gives a smooth, fine surface with minimal friction. Adds only 7 my/layer, which ensures an even and smooth base even after several years of painting. Approved and recommended for use on the east and the west coast of Sweden. (Örskär-Norwegian border)
Application
Existing antifouling is wet sanded, any loose paint is removed. Wash the hull with Boat Cleaner and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. New boats and untreated surfaces should be sanded with paper 120-180, wash with Boat Cleaner and rinse with fresh water. Allow to dry, then prime with Epoxy Primer. Use a roller (felt) with a small diameter (about 10 x 2 cm) or an electric spray-nozzle for application. When spraying, thinning is recommended. Add about 20% Multi Thinner. We recommend using protective gloves and a mask when sanding antifouling paints.
Painting should be done in dry weather with a temperature above + 5 °C.
